About

Hi, my name is Peter Ciro and I have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Devry University. I Currently live in the western suburbs of Chicago. Since the age of 3 I have been fascinated by the power of thunderstorms and even a little afraid of them. I was 10 years old when, on August 28th 1990, a powerful F5 tornado ripped through Plainfield, Illinois just a few miles from my hometown of Romeoville. Seeing the sheer destruction that this caused left me in awe of how powerful mother nature really can be. After seeing this damage, it propelled me into the world of researching, spotting and chasing severe weather phenomenon. Please feel free to look around the blog\site and contact me at plainfieldstormchaser@gmail.com with any comments or questions. Enjoy!
